Cross Sound Ferry

The Cross Sound Ferry has always taken passengers on a leisurely ride from Long Island to Connecticut, yet travelers were continuing to use the traffic-snarled, yet traditional I-95 route around NY city to get there by car. We staged the “Great Cross Sound Race” to demonstrate how much better the ferry route is by pitting two families against each other, one using the ferry route, and the other the 95 route. From that shoot we were also able to produce a variety of deliverables that would be used on TV, digitally, and even on the boat itself.
